Matt specialises in arable farming and contracting, He manages a total of 370 hectares; 
including single operation contracting, focusing on drilling, spraying, avadex application, combining & highways verge cutting. We caught up with Matt and here is what he had to say about his experience with Sharmans.

Why did you decide to purchase Case IH products?

‘ I previously had another brand of tractor but had a bad experience and looked at alternatives. We decided to go with Case IH after good reviews from other users coupled with the appointment of Sharmans as my new local dealer. The product also fitted my needs; good value for money and excellent performance. 
Previously, I had a demo of an Axial Flow Combine during my student placement and I really liked its simplicity and performance compared to the combine I was driving. This experience led me to an Axial Flow when I was changing combines from a previous brand. I was able to get a much bigger, newer and more capable combine for less money than if I’d opted for another brand.’

How is your experience with Sharmans so far?

“Sharmans have a good reputation and we were both making the move to Case IH at the same time. I recieved fantastic service from Mark Wooton at the Sharmans Pytchley depot when initially I
enquired about a Puma tractor, compared to little or no effort from other dealers. I have since 
transferred to James Aspden at Sharmans new Eltisley depot because it is much closer and I have had the same excellent service.

Overall I have found Sharmans to be very welcoming as a new customer, with a very family business feel. Everyone I’ve dealt with wants to help and it’s good to see and talk to salesmen, managers and 
directors right through the company, at events with the nice touch that they often know who I am and what machinery I’ve purchased.”

“ I have had a very good experience from both parts and service. Eltisley is a new depot which comes with its own challenges, but I haven’t had any bad experiences. The team work hard to keep us 
moving and are all very approachable and knowledgeable, especially considering they are learning a new brand of machinery. “

“As a result of the experience I have had since purchasing two Pumas, I have had the confidence to change to an Axial Flow Combine and transfer the service work of my JCB loader to Sharmans.“
