What are the FETF grants?

FETF grants are available for Farmers and Contractors for help buying items that improve productivity, manage slurry and improve animal health and welfare.

This article covers the productivity and slurry categories with equipment available from Amazone, Claydon, Bednar, Sumo, Stocks AG, Spearhead, Major, Case IH, Raven & Dalbo products eligible for the grants!

Sharmans also stock a range of items from Bateman, covering the animal health and welfare grants.

How do you apply?

Applications are made online via the FETF Application Portal at www.rpagrants.org.uk/welcome/

The applications for productivity and slurry items is open from 29th May 2025 to 10th July 2025.
This year there is ONLY ONE FETF grant window. This means that if you are not successful you can not apply again in a subsequent window.

Grants are awarded based on a scoring system, with the highest scoring applicants recieving their grants first. Therefore early application is recommended as the awarding of grants is competitive and applicants won’t automatically recieve one.

How To make your Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) grant application more successful

When you apply for a Productivity grant tell RPA if your SBI has received less than £10,000 of Productivity and Slurry funding from any previous FETF rounds. This can increase your application score by 25%.
This applies to the total funding received from FETF Round 1 2022 (any items), FETF 2023 (Productivity and Slurry items) and FETF 2024 (Productivity and Slurry items). This does not include any funding from FETF 2023 (Animal Health and Welfare items) or FETF 2024 (Animal Health and Welfare items).
