We are pleased to announce there is a range of Bateman products eligible for the grants!
What are the FETF grants?
FETF grants are available for Farmers and Contractors for help buying items that improve productivity, manage slurry and improve animal health and welfare.
The Bateman range includes products for sheep and cattle under the animal health and welfare FETF grants. However, grants are also available to farmers and contractors with pigs & poultry.
How do you apply?
Applications are made online via the FETF Application Portal

The first round of applications for productivity and slurry items is open from 6th March 2024 to 17th April 2024. With the applicaton for animal health and welfare items opening shortly.
This year the FETF grants are available to Farmers & Contractors and are split into 3 application windows during 2024. This means that if you are not successful on the first application you can apply again in a subsequent window.
Grants are awarded based on a scoring system, with the highest scoring applicants recieving their grants first. Therefore early application is recommended as the awarding of grants is competitive and applicants won’t automatically recieve one.
For animal health and welfare items, the RPA and Defra recommend seeking the advice of a vet. This can now be used to increase the strength of your application, meaning you have have a higher chance of success.
